| Virtually every patient admitted to hospital as an emergency requires a chest x-ray and an ECG. Accurate interpretation of these investigations is critical to emergency management. |
| The SEXIcourse concept has arisen from a recognition that ECG and X-ray interpretation are increasingly neglected in the medical school curriculum. As a consequence most of junior doctors knowledge is learned “on the job”. ECG’s and Chest x-rays also play an important part in the MRCP part 2 exam for those wishing to pursue a career in medicine. |
